Last week we talked about how to save leftover wine. Yesterday, we talked about the corks. But what should you do with the bottles?
Organic Needle recommends using them to store or gift infused oils or vinegards.
Living Small has a great idea for turning them into neat looking candle sticks using a glass cutter.
Wine Enthusiast has a wine bottle candelabra insert that turns any wine bottle into a centerpiece or a kit that turns any wine bottle into an oil lamp.
The Artful Crafter uses them to make mood lights (please use LED lights to save energy if you do this).
DIY Network shows us how to make a wine bottle coffee table. This would be great in a house without dogs. I could see my big beasts breaking it in two minutes.
If you have access to a kiln and know someone who is versed in fusing, you can make these wine bottle cheese trays from Craftster.
Instructables has directions for making drinking glasses.
Or, if you’re really planning to hit the sauce over the holidays, you can save up to build a house.
