Do It Every Day

Posted on April 1, 2009 by Allie

Earth Day is a great way to remind all of us to make our footprint smaller, waste less, and make other efforts to protect our planet.  But it’s not about one day.

You can’t expect one day of making green changes to make a difference, the same way you can’t expect to lose twenty pounds by spending one day eating grapefruit and salad.  Celebrate Earth Day.  Use it as a way to start a conversation with your friends and family.  Volunteer.  Recycle.  Don’t buy what you don’t need.  Conserve energy and water.  Support local farmers who are doing things the right way.  And then get up tomorrow, and do it all over again.

Happy Earth Day!
