Oh, So SOFT! – Green Baby Clothing Giveaway!

Posted on April 16, 2010 by Melissa

Stylishly Green Baby Clothing is the definition of SOFT, a new, very unique and eco-savvy brand of baby clothing. SOFT was kind enough to send me a free sample of their super trendy Growl Onesie which is much loved by celebrities. I could not wait to get my new baby, Owen, in it!

Owen felt so comfortable wearing this incredibly soft 100% organic cotton onesie, that he fell asleep immediately (I knew I liked this brand for a reason!). The Growl Onesie, which retails for $30.00, washed and dried perfectly. The “safe, low impact” orange dye did not fade or crack. The naturally colored organic cotton, which according to SOFT’s website is produced using Fair Trade and easy on the environment practices in China, did not shrink or pill. I appreciate the generous length of the sleeves on this bodysuit because they add extra protection for Owen’s little arms when we are outside chasing around his two year old brother! The Growl Onesie slipped easily over Owen’s head without any tugging or discomfort. Additonally, he just looks so darn cute – what a stylish way to showcase chunky baby thighs!

Complimenting their short and long sleeve bodysuits, SOFT’s green clothing line also includes fashionable pants, blankets, and a whimsical hand knit hat.

I think each item would make an especially thoughtful baby shower gift for the Greenist in your life, or adorable additions to your own child’s layette! In fact, SOFT wants to help you get started by giving away a Growl Onesie to one lucky Greenist. Here is how you have three chances to win:

  1. Visit SOFT’s website and leave a comment after this post stating which of their products you liked best.
  2. Become a fan of The Greenists on Facebook and leave a comment after this post stating that you’ve become a fan.
  3. Tweet about this giveaway on Twitter and leave a comment after this post with the link to your Tweet.

The giveaway will run for one week and the winner will be chosen using a random number generator on Friday, April 23, 2010. Please, one entry of each type per person. Comments that appear to be spam will not be counted. As my former high school French teacher would say, “Bonne chance. Bonne chance means good luck!”

  8. Hehaeh Oh, even after looking at the site for Soft, I just love the Growl onesie! My bestie just announced to me that she’s preggers, and I am so excited to celebrate joy with her. I’ve been thinking of all the great things I have to get Baby Kidney Bean, and the Growl is part of that package!

Tip of the Day

If It Doesn’t Smell, Don’t Wash It

According to Real Simple, if every American made an effort to launder less — cutting out just one load of laundry a week per household — we’d save enough water to fill seven million swimming pools each year.

So if it looks clean, and it smells clean, call it clean and wear it again. Consider hanging worn clothes out on your clothesline to freshen them up between wearings.
