AirFlow Breeze Giveaway!
Posted on September 23, 2008 by

I’m busy installing insulated curtains and making other adjustments to my home to prepare for winter, because conserving energy is the right thing to do, and also because I know this year’s heating bill will be higher than last it was last year.
According to the folks at AirFlow Breeze, if you have a central heating/cooling system there’s a relatively inexpensive, easy way to get more bang for your heating and cooling buck. The AirFlow Breeze improves the circulation of air to fix problem rooms that always feel too hot or too cold. It plugs into an outlet and costs about 5 dollars a year to run, and if it can keep you from cranking up the heat to stay comfortable in your drafty living room, or blasting the A/C to keep from melting into a puddle at night while you’re trying to sleep, you could see significant savings.
I love the idea of using something simple and energy efficient to create a comfortable environment at home, and I love the fact that it is installed into the vent, so it can’t be knocked over by pets or kids. The poor fan in our house has taken quite a beating from the dog knocking into it, and I’m scared to use a space heater because of the fire risk involved.
Want to give the AirFlow Breeze a try? They were kind enough to send me one. I was going to test it out, write a review, and give it away, but anything that gets used in our house acquires dog hair. So instead of testing out the AirFlow Breeze, I’m giving it away, unused and free of dog hair. If you win, shoot me an e-mail after you’ve used it for a couple of weeks to let me know how it’s working out for you.
The unit I have to give away is the standard 4 inch by 10 inch size, but comes with adapters to fit 4 inch by 12 inch, 6 inch by 10 inch, and 6 inch by 12 inch adapters. Please check out the AirFlow Breeze website to make sure the product will work in your home and that you can handle the installation (or have someone take care of it for you). I am not responsible for this product in any way shape or form.
To enter, sign in with a valid e-mail address and leave a comment below. Only one comment/entry on this post per person will be counted. Check out new posts later in the week, because I’ll give you a chance to enter again and increase your chance of winning. The giveaway will close on Sunday, September 28th, at noon (Eastern), and I’ll draw a name out of a hat to determine the winner. The winner will be announced on Monday, September 29th. Comments that appear to be spam will not be counted.
Good luck!

Poo. I don’t have central air/heat. Sounds awesome though. I’m interested to hear the review from whomever wins!
I totally have central air, and I think this thing might be the answer to my freezing feet on winter’s nights.
I would love to try this! It sounds like a great product!
I’ve never seen that before, but that is very cool!
This really looks like a neat product. I have central heat/ forced hot air heating and while my bedroom is warm if I close the door, the living room is always cooler, (even with new windows!) causing the furnace to kick on unnecessarily as the thermostat is in that room. Looking at the video, I see they can be mounted on the wall too, which is where my vents are. I work in fuel assistance and have bookmarked the site and will be letting clients know about it as well as our energy auditors that make the home visits. Thanks for letting me know about a great product!

What a consept…please count me in, this would really help out in our home/apartment…We could sure use some air purifying in our 975 SqFt apartment that homes my family of 5…
Great giveaway, thank you!!!
Ooh! Ooh! I won a prize in your last giveaway and lightning ALWAYS strikes twice, right?
I am getting cold just thinking about the lack of an air flow breeze in my room.
Woohoo! We are saving up for our soy insulation, so this will really help in the meantime!
I’d love to try this. Count me in! Shame it has to be without a review but I guess it’s preferable to “Giveaway – free dog hair covered prizes”
I live in a Baltimore City rowhome! The temperature upstairs is always 10 degrees hotter than the downstairs. Oy!
I would love to try this. My bedroom is always the hottest or coldest room in the house because it is closest to the central unit. I would love to even out the temp between that room and the living room.

I would love to try the Air Flow Breeze. We live in a 1922 home that was designed rather poorly when it comes to ductwork. The previous owner tried to re-do it back in the 60′s and just made it worse. As for dog hair, I’d be thrilled to get some more stuff with dog hair on it. I have 2 feral kittens in the house and new smells keep them entertained for hours!
CONTEST CLOSED
That looks like a great product – I might have to check it out for summer (we don’t have forced-air heat – just radiator). Anyway, I would love to hear more about the adjustments you are making for winter, though! Insulated curtains? Do tell! (pretty please!)
sounds good and when i get a job..it’ll be on my buy list! Tx.L.
