It’s Not What It Looks Like

Well, I suppose that depends on what it looks like to you.
It’s my new natural food store obsession – “dates rolled in coconut.” They look awful, but they taste amazing.
And since the only ingredients are dates and coconuts, they are HFCS-free, and gluten-free. They’re super sweet, really satisfying. I have an awful sweet tooth, but these keep me from craving cookies or candy.
I had a discussion with Lady about them a few months ago, and she says Whole Foods carries something similar with a little almond on top.
If you’re tired of scanning labels all the time, look for these in the bulk section of your natural foods store.
They look and sound delish! I’ll be on the lookout.
I really need to invest in some of these. My sweet tooth is horrible and I’ll do anything to stay away from the chocolate and candy! I love dates and coconut separately so I think I’d love them together. Thanks!
It looks really nasty, I’m glad to know it’s actually a food item. I don’t like coconut, so I’ll be passing on this one.
Wow, really? Do you make them? If you find a recipe, please post! Otherwise, I found a new way to avoid too much sugar.
I thought it looked like a tootsie roll rolled in coconut. At very first, I thought it was a pillow. Ha ha ha.
