Can Marinara Sauce Save The World?

I’ve never been completely okay with sauce from a jar. It just feels wrong. Sauce should be made on a Sunday afternoon, simmering on the stove until the whole house smells like garlic and tomatoes. Besides, sauce from a jar never tastes as good as homemade, right?
Well, I pride myself on my homemade sauce, but I have to admit that Seeds of Change Marinara di Venezia is neck and neck with my own. And, since I’m all out of the sauce I made this summer, I’m happy for the convenience of ready to eat sauce.
If you’re a gardener, you may be familiar with Seeds of Change. I planted some seeds from their catalogue last year. In fact, I believe my insane cherry tomatoes came from Seeds of Change seeds. From their site:
In 1989, Seeds of Change started with a simple mission: to help preserve biodiversity and promote sustainable, organic agriculture. By cultivating hundreds of open-pollinated, organically grown, heirloom and traditional vegetable, flower and herb seeds, we have kept to this mission.
Maybe marinara sauce can’t save the world, but Seeds of Change can help save our seeds.

I’ve never known anything but jarred sauce in my life, so this is a great tip for me!
