In my mind, you are all winners, but here are the winners of the Stamp Out Hunger Contest:

  1. Nancy Pearl Wannabe
  2. Sally
  3. Michele

I’ll e-mail you for your addresses.
Did you get to donate to the Stamp Out Hunger campaign? How did it go?

I got so upset on Saturday, because the mail came and my bag was still sitting on the stoop. I almost brought the bag back in immediately. Luckily, just then, I saw the mail truck coming around the corner. Our mail lady does most of the route on foot, and it stands to reason that she’d loop back for the bags of food. That would be a lot to carry around!

It felt good to help and I think it was a pretty painless way to donate.

  2. Yay! … my mail guy walks totally on foot through several hundred apts. Philly mail carriers are (usually) so crazy skinny from so much walking. But I told other people to donate :)
