There are two features of the sunscreen that catch my eye: the antioxidants, and that it repairs skin. I have very fair skin which has burnt many times over the years, so a product which not only protects but also nourishes my skin would be very welcome.
I love that Vivesana sunscreen is paraben free. The idea of bioaccumulation worries me, so it’s nice to see that they’re offering a sunscreen without it.
This stuff sounds great–paraben, phthalate, and BPA free–but I wish they sold it here.
I like that they’ve added certified organic moisturizers to their sunscreen. It’s hard to find sunscreens and moisturizers without harmful ingredients, fortunately here’s a product that does both!
Awesome, I’ve been reading about what to avoid in sunscreen and it’s nice to see more companies producing better for you products.
I like that Vivesana’s products are organic and natural – I have been trying to work fewer chemicals into my daily routine. I would love to try this stuff!
I love that the products are natural, but it sounds like they are easier to apply than some other natural sunscreens I’ve tried.
I’m impressed with their SPF level. A lot of greener sunscreens don’t provide the protection I need.
May Canadians enter? The most important feature to me is that the active ingredients are sunblocks (rather than chemical sunscreens) and have a track record of being safe.
“…we think companies have a responsibility to be honest..” Thank You Vivesana!
Love the non-plastic container… and living in Colorado we have to slather ourselves and kids or we burn… so, the wonderful, non-toxic (for reals) ingredients are fabulous!
I love that it’s a natural sunscreen that is waterproof.
I love that it’s concentrated! I am tired of going through a cup of sunblock to get my whole body good and protected.
Thanks for offering this! The fact that it contains synthetic-free SPF is very appealing to me. I had no idea that was possible.
I love that the sunscreen comes in aluminum tubes rather than plastic. I haven’t seen another “natural” sunscreen that comes in that type of packaging.
I love the ingredients AND that is goes on smoothly. I’ve been looking like a ghost at the beach with my white mineral sunscreens.
I’ve never tried natural sunscreen. I’ve been using facial moisturizer with SPF on my (very fair) kids but they’re burning despite it. I need to try something new!
I’m excited about the synthetic-free SPF, and that it helps to block wind and lock in moisture to protect the skin in multiple ways.
the high SPF synthetic-free for my baby’s sweet skin is what attracts me! and, of course, organic ingredients makes it all the better:)
I love the fact that Vivesana uses “local, safe, responsible packaging”. On my search for a good facial sunscreen this year, I have yet to find one not packaged in plastic. It is obvious that they are passionate about creating a great product, and thanks for letting us know about Vivesana!
I have read articles that certain chemicals in children’s sunscreens can affect their hormones, and its not easy to find chemical fee sunscreen for children. I am eager to try Vivesana.

Thanks for the coupon code! I’m always on the lookout for a chemical free sunscreen. I picked some up at Whole Foods recently but am always looking for more.

I started using the Made from Earth organic Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer since 2006.
There are two specific reasons why I continue to use it. I am sensitive to most cosmetic product smells and perfumes – the Made from Earth moisturizer is hypoallergetic and chemical free. It is absorbed by the skin without leaving a residue, or greasy feeling. Some skin products (some very expensive ones)have left my face dried out even though labeled as “moisturizers”.
Made from Earth Moisturizer has this wonderful ‘cool’ feeling to it. A $60.00 jar lasts 4 months – do the math. Some over the counter skin products cost over $20.00 and Made from Earth Moisturzer on the whole, are fiscally sound purchases for those looking for a bargain.
I was looking for a moisturizer at an affordable price that makes the promises that the more expensive ones do. I was kind of skeptical because there were no reviews for the Made from Earth Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer that I could find – but after reading the ingredients and description of the product, I ordered it.
Only after 3 days of using the product at night on my face, I noticed the deep vertical lines above my lips, have already softened and look as if the lines have reduced significantly. The product leaves no oily or greasy feeling on the skin and absorbs quickly.
I highly recommend the Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer (from Made from Earth) if you are looking to reduce fine lines on your face, and I am excited to try other products from this company.
I am looking for a sunscreen for my daughter who has very sensitive fair skin. I love that it is organic, high SPF and anti oxidants.
