Make a Draft Stopper
A simple way to keep your house warm is to seal the bottoms of doorways with a draft stopper. You can usually purchase them inexpensively, but making one is a fun, easy DIY project.

This guy’s pretty cool too, I guess.
And now that I’ve actually watched it:
Moral hazard indeed. And scary. But certainly worth considering. If we are in fact already long past the tipping point, maybe we have nothing to lose by trying to engineer our way out of the problem. Or maybe we have everything to lose. I’d hate for people to see something like this as “the easy way out.”
